*All financial obligations from the 2009-10 season must be fulfilled before any player will be eligible to play for the Oakland Bears, or any other NORCAL affiliated club.
TRYOUT INFORMATION
Below are the tryout times for each age group. All players must tryout at their correct age group. NO EXCEPTIONS.
The 2010-2011 tryout registration fee is $125. Registration can be completed online by clicking HERE or at the front desk of the Oakland Ice Center.

- No practices the week of November 22 (Thanksgiving), December 20 and December 27 (Christmas/New Years)
- 2010-2011 Practice schedule for each level - Starting the week of September 20:
- Mite Exhibition - Wednesdays 5:15-6:30pm, In-House Saturday 8:15-9:30am NHL, Sunday 11:30am-12:45pm OLY
- Squirts - Wednesdays 5:15-6:30pm OLY, Fridays 5:45-7:00pm NHL
- Peewees - Mondays 5:15-6:30pm NHL, Wednesdays 5:45-7:00pm NHL
- Bantam - Wednesdays 5:45-7:00pm NHL, Fridays 7:00-8:15pm NHL
- Midget 16 - Mondays 7:15-8:30pm OLY, Wednesdays 6:45-8:00pm OLY
- Midget 18 - Mondays 6:45-8:00pm NHL, Wednesdays 6:45-8:00pm OLY
- Game schedule to be released by NORCAL
FEES FOR THE 2010-2011 OAKLAND BEARS
- Pay-In-Full Option: $1750 by September 1, 2010
- Monthly Option:
- One (1) payment of $540 up front at time of signing
- Five (5) payments of $270 due on the 1st of October, November, December, January, February
- Discounts available for both payment options
- 10% Oakland Resident
- 10% Second Sibling
- Late or delinquent accounts may be result in player suspension until account is brought current
- No player with a delinquent account may participate in any NORCAL or CAHA end of the season championships
FEES INCLUDE:
- Regularly scheduled team practices
- Home game ice
- All team registration fees for NORCAL, CAHA, and USA Hockey
- Coaches stipend
FEES DO NOT INCLUDE:
- Individual USA Hockey player registration
- Practice ice and playoff fees for post-season play (should the team qualify)
- Tournament fees and costs (including coaches expenses) for games outside of the NORCAL schedule
- Any individual expenses incurred in traveling to and from, and attending games or other team events
- Any additional practice or other ice time acquired by the team outisde of the regular schedule of two weekly practices as described above.
- Home and away Oakland Bears jerseys (returning players use last season's jerseys, new players will have to purchase jerseys)
