Drop-In Hockey & Gretzky Hours
WEEKLY DROP-IN HOCKEY
Spots can be reserved by calling the Admissions Desk at 510-268- 9000 and paying for your spot with a credit card (Visa or Mastercard Accepted). Our staff is available to take your reservation starting at 6:15am. Space is reserved on a first come, first served basis for 20 players and three goalies. Reservations may also be made in person at the Admission's Desk, but walk-ups are encouraged to call beforehand to insure that spots are still available. There are NO REFUNDS available. Participants must be at least 18 years old. Please be aware that during our mid-day drop-in hockey sessions that only metered street parking & garage parking are available.
Goalie Cost: FREE
Wednesday and Friday 6:00-7:30am.
Friday Night at 9:30-11:00pm
All customers/participant who enter the ice surface and participate must pay a fee. This includes private lesson participants (both hockey and skating). Proof of purchase can be either a computer generated receipt or a Sharks Ice sticker. Payment shall be made BEFORE each session has started.
If a customer is caught participating on a session without paying, the following will occur:
FIRST OFFENSE: If a customer is caught participating without paying, he or she will be banned/bared/expelled from the building for a period of 60 days for the first offense. The 60 day ban will begin on the day of the offense. The offending customer will then be placed on the "Banned List" which will be posted at all 3 Sharks Ice locations.
SECOND OFFENSE: If a customer is caught participating without paying for a second time, he or she will be banned for life from all Sharks Ice facilities
PRIVATE ICE COACHES: Any coach (independant contractor or employee) giving a lesson (hockey or figure skating) to a customer who has not paid will be suspended and/or terminated immediately without exception
GRETZKY HOURS
Gretzky improved his skills one way; he practiced everyday on an outdoor rink. With no organized games, no coaches, Gretzky skated and stickhandled for hours experimenting and trying new things. We don’t have outdoor hockey rinks in
Each player is required to sign in before each session. Full USA Hockey Certified equipment required.
No outside or private coaches allowed on the ice at anytime. Limit 40 participants.
Program Fee: $10 per hour (Players and Goalies)
1.25 Gretzky Hour costs: $12.50
1.5 Gretzky Hour costs: $15.00
Participants must bring their own pucks!
