SUMMER 2013 ADULT HOCKEY CLASSES

We offer several adult hockey classes designed to challenge any adult hockey player (18+) who's looking to learn new skills, hone the skills they have or just work up a sweat after a long day. For many, our Adult Hockey Classes are taken in preparation for play in our Sharks Ice Adult Hockey League (SIAHL). Though it is not mandatory for new players to follow the entire class progression listed below, we do recommend taking all of the classes in order for the player to maximize his/her enjoyment in the sport. All classes include a complimentary parking pass which can be used at the surface lot on the corner of 18th and San Pablo. 

SKATE RENTAL IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE REGISTRATION COST FOR ANY CLASS – 12-session skate rental books are available at the front desk at a discounted price of $40 (12 skate rentals for the price of 10).

There is no gear available for adult hockey classes. If you forget a piece of gear, everything is available for purchase in our ProShop.

Adult Hockey Beginner Class
5:15-6:15pm Sundays NHL (July 14 - September 9) -10-week series - $175
Instructors: Cyril Allen and Mark Arneson
Class will focus primarily on the basic skills of skating, puckhandling, passing and shooting.

Adult Hockey Intermediate/Advanced Class
6:30-7:30pm Thursdays NHL (July 18 - September 15) - 10-week series - $175
Instructors: Mark Arneson and Vadim Shebeco
OR
6:30-7:30pm Sundays NHL (July 14 - September 15) - 10-week series - $175
Instructors: Cyril Allen and Mark Arneson
Class for skaters who want less instruction and more challenging drills. Great for adult leaguers who are looking for extra ice time or just hoping to avoid traffic!

***Due to the start of the Fall session, the last Thursday night class will be combined with Sunday night and be held at 6:30-7:30PM on Sunday, September 15***

Monday Night Power Skating Class
5:15-6:15pm Mondays OLY (Start date - July 8) - 12-week series - $160
Instructors: Alyn Libman
Our pure power skating class is back! Power Skating Coach Alyn Libman will lead a 60 minute class specifically geared towards making participants more technically efficient and powerful skaters.
