FREESTYLES ONLINE PURCHASE NOW
You will now be able to sign upfor Freestyle on-line and have the flexibility you have requested. All Freestyle sessions for the coming month will be posted on-line by the 25th of the month prior. Preferred Pricing (monthly fee) will be in effect from the 25th- 5th. After the 5th of each month the price will change to the drop-in rate. On the 6th you will be able to sign up for the sessions you would like at the drop-in rate only.
To best accommodate and meet customer expectation we will tier pricing based on the number of sessions purchased. The more sessions you purchase the better the price. In addition to our tiered pricing you will also have the option of paying a monthly unlimited fee. With the unlimited you will have to sign up for the sessions you would like to skate in person. You may add sessions any time during the month as long as the sessions are available at the drop in price. All sessions are first come, first serve basis.
Preferred Pricing:
1-14 1 hour sessions purchased =$10.50 ea.
15-29 1 hour sessions purchased = $10.00 ea.
30-45 1 hour sessions purchased = $9.50 ea.
Drop-in Pricing:
1 hour session = $12.50
One Month Unlimited - $350 for the month (purchased through cashier only and completing a printed freestyle schedule
Three Month Unlimited - $950 (purchased through cashier only and completing a printed freestyle schedule)
Just a few easy steps to sign-up

3. Click on the Freestyle Box
4. Choose 1 hour - You will then see the sessions available for the month.
5. Create an account and log-in.
6. Account will be in parents name so you will have to create a participant for each child.
7. Select participant
8. Select Freestyle sessions.
9. You will be sent a calendar as confirmation. Please print and keep this calendar with you.
On the day of your session you will still have to sign-in at the front desk. If you have not signed in 10 minutes after the start time your session can be re-sold by the rink.
We hope our new system is a welcome change and make the Freestyle process easier and more efficient.

There will be no credits, changes or refunds. Once you have selected your sessions they are yours.
GUEST COACHING POLICY
As a private facility, the Oakland Ice Center – Operated by Sharks Ice and its Skating Department reserves the right to approve or deny any guest coach who seeks the opportunity to coach/instruct at a Sharks Ice facility. Allowances for guest coaches apply primarily to local competition weeks and/or test schedules.
However, some exceptions and special circumstances may be granted by the Oakland Ice Center Skating Manager.*
Any coach not affiliated with the Oakland Ice Center seeking the opportunity to guest coach/instruct within a Sharks Ice facility, must contact the Skating Manager, David Hicks, at least seven (7) days in advance (dhicks@sharksice.com)
Upon approval and prior to their first ice session, a guest coach must stop at the
Skating Manager’s Office and submits:
1) a current copy of their liability insurance
2) $50 per day coaching fee
The guest coach will then receive a “guest coach” sticker that is to be worn on their jacket as proof they are compliant with all guest coach policies.
Once in the facility, the guest coach agrees to follow the Oakland Ice Center freestyle rules and regulations (posted on the Oakland Ice Center website at www.oaklandice.com). Failure to comply will result in the loss of the guest coach privileges.
*The Guest Coach Protocol does not apply to coaches who are invited by the
Skating Manager to work special skating camps, academies, and related special
appearances.
