ADULT HOCKEY CLASSES
September 15 - December 11
No Classes During Thanksgiving Break November 21-27
12 Weeks only $238.00
Both classes are open to all skill levels. Click on the Class information below to Register.
We offer several adult hockey classes designed to challenge any adult hockey player (18+) who's looking to learn new skills, hone the skills they have or just work up a sweat after a long day. For many, our Adult Hockey Classes are taken in preparation for play in our Sharks Ice Adult Hockey League (SIAHL). Though it is not mandatory for new players to follow the entire class progression listed below, we do recommend taking all of the classes in order for the player to maximize his/her enjoyment in the sport.
Each class is open to ALL skill levels. Within the class we divide the students into three levels of skill - Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced. We have an instructor to focus on each skill level group in each class so you will be working on skill sets specific to your level of play. We will teach and work on some basic individual skills as one group and will be with your specific group when working on concept skills and small area games.
SKATE RENTAL IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE REGISTRATION COST FOR ANY CLASS – 12-session skate rental books are available at the front desk at a discounted price of $42.50 (12 skate rentals for the price of 10).
Full Gear is REQUIRED. There is limited gear available for adult beginners that are brand new to hockey. If you forget a piece of gear, everything is available for purchase in our Pro Shop.

Derek Donald, Head Instructor
This camp is open to adults (18+) of all skill levels but not an introductory class. It is designed for progression training and will focus on proper skating and skills for explosive quickness, open ice speed and tight area transitional skating. My training method is driven by 20+ years experience and perspective as a professional that has worked with players and coaches in the highest and most distinguished levels of hockey of overall player development. The feet, hands and head need to work together for proper skating and puck handling skills. Too many Hockey Skating Instructors focus on footwork only and do not understand the proper balance of the entire body, hands and stick for hockey. I tie all of the components together to ensure that you come away with proper techniques and habits that coordinate skating to puck control and skills. Players will be tested on the first and last day of camp to ensure that quickness and speed has improved. Each player will receive a full evaluation of their skating performance at the end of camp.
